Wisconsin joins in celebrating National Entrepreneurship Week 2009 by presenting a webcast that will feature two Wisconsin high school students who have been named "Young Entrepreneurs of the Year" by the Department of Commerce and the Department of Public Instruction. The one-hour webcast will also feature Jordan Leahy of UW-Whitewater's Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization. During the webcast, these three young entrepreneurs will talk about their businesses and answer questions from other Wisconsin high students and aspiring entrepreneurs. The webcast will be broadcast from the Governor's Conference Room and is part of the week-long celebration to recognize the strong entrepreneurial spirit in Wisconsin. Wisconsin joins in celebrating National Entrepreneurship Week (February 23-March 1) by presenting an entrepreneurial webcast that will feature two Wisconsin high school students who have been named "Young Entrepreneurs of the Year" by the Department of Commerce and the Department of Public Instruction. The one-hour webcast will also feature UW-graduate Rishi Shah, who was recently named by Business Week magazine as one of America's Best Young Entrepreneurs for his business, Flying Cart. During the webcast, these three young entrepreneurs will talk about their businesses and answer questions from other Wisconsin high students and aspiring entrepreneurs. The webcast will be broadcast from the Governor's Conference Room and is part of the week-long celebration to recognize the strong entrepreneurial spirit in Wisconsin. Governor Doyle along with Department of Commerce Secretary Jack L. Fischer, A.I.A. and School Superintendent Libby Burmaster will begin the web cast by paying special recognition for accomplishments of these young entrepreneurs.
